Who I am

 

I'm a Philadelphia-based writer, editor and author. I love to write. I love to edit. I feel my love for what I do comes through in my work. See client testimonials here

 

I've written eight books. I'm the author of "The Dog Lover's Companion to Philadelphia" and "Philadelphia: A Photographic Portrait," as well as the corporate history book "BAYADA: 40 Years of Compassion, Excellence and Reliability." I'm also the co-author of my newest book, "Growing Feelings: A Kids' Guide to Dealing with Emotions About Friends and Other Kids." And I've co-authored the best-selling "Growing Friendships: A Kids' Guide to Making and Keeping Friends" as well as "American Red Cross: Dog First Aid" and the "American Red Cross: Cat First Aid" books and "The 7 Steps to Take in the Face of Dementia" (pending).

 

I've authored hundreds of articles on a variety of topics, like health, health care, Philadelphia, disabilities and parenting, for print and online media that include WebMD, Family Circle,  Parents, Reader's Digest (managed project), Bottom Line/Women's Health, Kiwi, Scholastic Parent & Child, USAirways, WomansDay.com, Discovery.com, DiscoveryHealth.com, AnimalPlanet.com and Dogtime.com.
