Thanks for stopping by! For as long as I can remember, not a day goes by that I haven't enjoyed telling or listening to a good story. Stories are what define us — they make us human, they keep us present and help us learn. That’s why I feel so fortunate to do what I love as a writer and continue to tell stories and inform readers in a variety of formats.
My Background: I’ve written hundreds and hundreds of stories in the form of nonfiction articles and content marketing pieces like blogs, web pages and social posts. I’ve also authored eight books. My latest is Growing Feelings: A Kids' Guide to Dealing with Emotions About Friends and Other Kids, which released in July 2023 and is a follow up to the best-selling Growing Friendships: A Kids’ Guide to Making and Keeping Friends.
Plus, I don't just write content. I'm experienced working on the other side: as an editor of articles, web content, video content and books. I also work as an editorial coach/consultant. And I earned my five-course specialist certificate in Content Strategy from Northwestern University.

Why Work with Me: I’m an accomplished storyteller and editor with loads of experience. That means I know how to reliably deliver accurate, engaging content on time and within budget. And I'm adept at project management. I'm also flexible, have a healthy sense of humor and love to laugh. You can see my full client list and read some testimonials while you're here.

Why I Love What I Do: I love writing, period. And I believe my enthusiasm comes through in my writing where the tone is friendly, informative and down-to-earth. Some of my favorite topics include health care, health/medicine, parenting, pets, amazing accomplishments of people with disabilities and the great city of Philadelphia.
New!
An entertaining toolkit to help kids understand their own and others’ feelings so they can build stronger friendships.
